If you play the E chord as fret 2 on A and fret 4 on G C and E (as a sort of barre) it’s easier!
This E Chord is terrible! -2 isn’t that bad though.
Yes, the E chord is a major curse to us ukulele players with small hands, but try -7, super easy! I’ve been strumming down with an occasional quick strum up. Just a recommendation.

Uggh! E chord!! And I like to start with g and then do d. It sounds better and more like the original! Any tips for medium fingers that are not giant and not tiny?!
