I like to add just a g chord at the end to tie it all together 🙂
Am I the only one who thought it was “dead skin on trial”? I want to sing this for my virtual graduation and I’m not sure…
honestly i think the song sounds better if you go G G C D instead of G C D with the island strumming (standard DDUUDU
I like to use this for picking:
A|———-2———–2-|
E|——3——3———-| ●play 2x
C|–2————-2——-|
G|————————–|
A|———3———-3–|
E|——0—–0———-|
C|–0———–0——–|
G|————————-|
A|———0———-0–|
E|——2—–2———-|
C|–2————2——|
G|————————|
That’s all I can figure out so far…
strum pattern???
if this is a strumming song, what’s the pattern??
i recommended this song for my eighth grade graduation and its a really fun song to play on ukulele
cool
Here is a tip that helps, when you are on the Em-G-Em-G bit, play you G with your index, middle ring finger as usual, but use your pinky to catch the C string on the 4th fret for the Em. Then all you are you are doing to switch, all you need to do is lift your pinky.
this is the best song
The lyric is “tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial”
+5 if you want to sing higher
omg this song. so good. My brother played it last year for graduation and everyone was confused at the title. Such a good song tho. love it
For the Strumming pattern I like to use DDUUDU
This song has such a good vibe, and honestly it’s perfect for graduations or just to think about life
the lack of punctuation in some spots bother me a bit lmao
I love this song, and in my opinion, it is cool with +4.
The lyric in the second verse is actually “and dead skin on trial” not “adn this test go on trail” Just thought everyone should know so you sing it correctly.
wow this is really cool. I can’t wait to play it for friends and family.
