There’s an easier way to play fmaj7! Put your first finger on the fifth fret on the g string and your second finger on the fifth fret on the c string and leave the other two strings open 🙂
I usually replace the Fmaj7 with an Am, I think it sounds nice 🙂
You can get away with playing only F and G through the whole song.
It sound amazing if you end the song on a C cord!
This record as a whole is amazing in my opinon but im also a Fleetwood Mac junkie and well ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s music as whole but… this song off of this album minus The Chain is my favorite. For a strumming pattern you can use a slow D-DUDUD (also for fellow guitarist i would use a 3 finger G and the cheating method of an F only barring the E and the B stings, playing the G like that will make it not as high and more mellow and cheating on the F just is easier personally to switch back and forth unless to you its easier to barre the entire thing)
u can replace fmaj7 with am
I just replace Fmaj7 with a C. Sounds a bit happier though.
transposing to either 7’s or either 5’s is easier
What is the strumming pattern
i like ending the song with a Fadd9. it kind of leaves the melody unresolved and sounds really cool
What an awesome song
What a great song?
What are you using for a strumming pattern?
Are there any other chords that will replace E?
the so many versions of this song you can do. you can use Am insteed of the Fmaj7
