At the start of quarantine, I got so sad I couldn’t play this – Bb was just too hard for me and I felt so disheartened. Now it’s November and I’m strumming like a champ 🙂 practice really does make perfect! (I’m aware that as of posting this it’s a relatively new arrangement, there was another version of this that I couldn’t play due to the Bb chord)
I swear I don’t play for 1 week and now all the good songs are on! lol, anyway love to all who play and thi sis probably the only thing keeping me sane in quarentine.
I am happy I have a ukulele so I can play songs. Its kept my spirits high during quarantine. I do find myself mostly playing Cavetown songs 😅 but, I mean, who can blame me, they are really fun to play, and I feel like most of Cavetowns songs mean something to everyone in different ways. Thats why I love music. It may be talking about one thing, sure, but to everyone who hears it, they could be interpreting it in another way. I love hearing different interpretations of songs and what everyone thinks its about and how it hits home for them. I love playing songs and seeing the different reactions and hearing feedback, and thank you uketabs for helping me learn them ☺️

Bridge: Strum down once/DD-DUDUD
Pre chorus: Strum down once
-5 sounds best I think 🙂
im glad this was added!
If you have smol hands try +7 on the transposer
strumming pattern anyone? TTwTT
i can play it decently but i think it might sound better with a consistent strumming pattern =w=)
+5 sounds the most accurate to the original
play the Am as F and it sounds way better ✋😩
Strumming pattern?
so i learned ukulele just so that i could play this song! i saw a cover of it on youtube and HAD to learn how to play. i’m now writing my own music and i’m so grateful for the joy that playing ukulele has brought me. devil town is still my favorite cavetown song, and it got me through some really tough times so tysm!! stay strong and stay safe everyone <3
I use a cappo on the first fret and transposer on 0. It works well with my voice.
I wish I could write songs like this but mine all suck
if you stum on the 12th fret it gives a cool effect for the beginning of the song.
This is my go to song when ever someone asks me to play
I’ve been playing some of the song in the piano (like ‘idea of her’) and I think it’s really great! Y’all should try it
It’s actually “we can go at least another night”
Good
-5 is fairly easy to play
