The lyrics are incorrect. Its not “Wake up in a cicada daze” its “Just one week of cicada days, we’re losing touch”.
I do +5 for my female alto voice, if your voice is higher than mine (I have quite a low range, verging on tenor) I recommend -2 and just singing up an octave
