I like to play it with one strum down in the first verse play F Am and G. And then starting in the pre-chorus i start to strum DDUUD playing F Am C and G. The chorus I like to play the same notes in the pre-chorus but with a strum once hit strum once hit for every note. then the second verse i go back to just F Am G with the strumming pattern for the pre-chorus. In the Bridge I play F Am C and G and I strum down 2x when i first play the note but when im about to switch to the next note i strum one more time. I hope this is understandable and hope that it helps you!!
The lyric in the pre-chorus isn’t “I find getting down low” it’s actually “Hi-Fi getting down low” according to the booklet in the album.

I like playing this by F, AM and G it is easier than this just keep repeating F, AM, G
i like playing the verse F, Dm, C, Am+G and the chorus+pre-chorus F, Dm, Am, G it sounds pretty good!
This is the closest I can get to the original song. It still sounds just a tad bit off but I think it works just fine.
G Em D and then for the last note I play either A or Gbm. Still playing around with it
