Play even down-up eighths to echo the rolling piano arpeggio underneath.
7 ukelele-akkoorden gebruikt in "Clocks" van Coldplay: Am, C, D, Em, F, Fmaj7 en G

the lyric isn’t “ye hoooooh arrrrrre”.
it’s “you are” just stretched out.
Me singing this for my friends: YEEEEEE HOOOOOOO AHHHHHHHHH
My friends: umm mental health help please
My friends snap stories: HAHAHAHACHACHACHAAAAAEEEEE
If (for my ukulele not sure bout everyone else.) you wanna play with the song transpose +1 or use a capo on fret one.
I have a really good strumming pattern that fits perfect with the song
DUU DUU DU for each chord
I actually was playing hometown by twenty one pilots and realized this song goes *perfectly* with those chords, C Gm Bb F
fmaj7 sounds better as just f
It’s so different on the piano. It’s kinda confusing. BTW “ye hoooooooh” is a great choice :<
I think it sounds better with D Am C Em
It’s in D#, not D. Everything needs to be raised one half step.
I’ve found for both the fingerpicking and strumming parts, putting a finger on the fifth fret of the E string for the D chord, and a finger on the third fret of the E string for the Am chord makes it sound more like the original 🙂 It’s fairly easy to slip into the next chord too!
Used to be you had alternative chords on this website. What happened?
You can also do C Gm Dm. The fingerstyle is like this:
C (A, G, E, A, G, E, A, G)
Gm (A, E, C, A, E C, A, E)
Dm x2 (same strings as 2nd verse)
Hope this is helpful in some way!! 😀
I created a tab for this, sounds pretty cool!
I play DDUUDU, and “ye hooh” part I play every chord one time down
+1 is more like the original
that fmaj7 can also be played as an f in my opinion
The intro sounds better if you use D in the shape of C + C + Em
great chords, some lyrics are a little off. For example, the ye hooh ahh is actually “you are” and its I could not stop what you now know 😉 but either one works
+2 is the easiest
i mean’t – 1
