If anyone was wondering I use the strumming pattern DDUUDU for most of the song, but when they sing,”And if you have a minute, why don’t we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know
‘Cos This could be the end of everything
So why don’t we go somewhere only we know
Somewhere only we know”
for that part I go into just strumming the note once each until you get back to,”Oh simple thing, where have you gone?
I’m getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you’re gonna let me in
I’m getting tired and I need somewhere to begin.”
Then you would start the DDUUDU pattern again for that part until you get to the end then I do the single strum once for each chord again.
This is the best ukulele teaching site I have found!
When it says F twice, instead of the first F, play Fsus4 ( 3-0-1-3), its more accurate and sounds better!
This is the BEST ukulele teaching site I have ever known
-5 is super easy and sounds great!!
I think the chorus does not sound so great with the chords here.. in c aka. +2 i would play Dm F G ( if you have a minute why don’t we go..)
I love this song and it sounds even better with the strumming pattern:
DDUUDU! <3
