Good song for our fifth graders, changing out the words “girl” to “boy” and “pretty'” to “clever”. It’s positive. Indeed we make our own luck or opportunities in life. And some of life is hard, but rolling with it and doing the best we can is what “que sera, sera” is about.

Hey! Does anyone know the strumming pattern for this song?
Nice classic sounds great on the uke. I like doing the OG Doris Day key (transpose +2 or use a capo). I like combining plucking and strumming for this song.
I think some of the little changes here and there are necessary and eliminate most of the quick changes like second last line of the chorus–you can eliminate the second chord and just continue the other one until the next chord comes in and it’s not as complicated and easier to make it sound nice.
Any chance these could be typed in a bigger font size and in bold? It’s hard for us old folks to read the small, light print! Thanks for listening. And thanks for this great site.
