Play the verses light and drive hard into the chorus with steady down-ups.

-1 for easier version.
this is so fudging high to sing lol
as everyone’s resident soprano, it’s so nice to find a song that i don’t need to transpose to fit my range 🙂 (i mean i still go -1 but that’s because i’m not one of those Insane People(TM) who insist that transposing is cheating lmao. like on half-step isn’t gonna start the apocalypse,,, chill)
scince I am only 12 I have the range of sia so its super awesome and perfect for my range! ALTHOUGH,,, i do like playing it on -1 cuz its easy
i like to strum down once then fingerpick until the next chord
I usuallt do Dudduddx
This song needs more credit though. Play -1 for easy version as the original cords are so hard
-1 is easy to do the song is really high anyway on some parts
amazing song, if you master the chords and the octaves then you’re great!
I use DUTDDTD as a strumming pattern w/ the -1 key. It is easier to sing.
-6 is good for alto’s.
Alto means people who sing in low voice
I use d d d du d for strumming pattern in the refrain and for the rests of the song I only use d
I use dduuduudu for most of the song, then when it gets to “I’m holding on for dear life” I play ddd three times, spaced evenly and timed 🙂
The A chord doesn’t sound right when transposed to +1. Any alternatives?
I usually use a down strum for most of the song and dudUdu for the chorus
I just strum down for the entire song
Can someone please comment the strum patten please, for us new to playing the uke. Thank you!
Strum pattern?
-1
-1 is great for beginners 🙂
