Auf der Ukulele läuft Harvest Moon auf das island strum hinaus: d – d u – u d u. Erwartet dich: entspanntes Tempo, etwa 62 bpm, mit einem leichten Swing dazu. Ich hab den hier in seiner Originaltonart D Dur gepostet. Die Akkorde setzen es klar aufs Könner-Niveau. Brush the strings lightly with a swung, shuffling strum.

Thanks for these chords, which were a great place to start. Here are some modifications I’ve made that you might want to try:
• for the 4-chord repeating riff, use D—Bm—D7—D7 instead of D—D—Bm—D
• use Em throughout instead of G
• add the signature arpeggio by playing Em at 7th fret, then strum Em in that position (muting first string) so that you can easily repeat the arpeggio before moving down to first position again
I’m just a beginner, and the barre chords in this are more challenging that I expected (sounds so easy on the record)… but I’m sticking with with it till I have it down!
P.S. to my comment of a week ago, in case it eventually undergoes “moderation”…
By “D7” I meant Dmaj7. Played at fret 2, it’s an easy transition from Bm in the same position—sounds just like the record 🙂
I usually do D6 and Dmaj7 for most of this song and then switch to G periodically (idk it just sounds like the song more i’m not an expert)
Strumming pattern?
Sounds awesome with baritone
Instead of D Bm D, I find that D D6 Dmaj7 sounds more like the song and is easier to play if you use a Barre for D6 and Dmaj7.
Can I suggest that instead of C C Am C, play C Am Cmaj7 Am then go to the F.
