Wie du Cups (When I’m Gone) (Cup Song) auf der Ukulele spielst
Cups (When I’m Gone) (Cup Song) läuft auf einem einzigen Muster: d – d u – u d u. Erwartet dich: flottes Tempo, etwa 135 bpm. Ich hab den hier in seiner Originaltonart C Dur gepostet. Die Akkorde bleiben auf Anfänger-Niveau, nichts Kniffliges dabei. Play a bouncy island strum and match the steady cup rhythm.

I love how it goes
“your gonna miss me by my walk
you gonna miss me by my talk – oh”
it said your gonna miss me by my taco.
I used to think “Your gonna miss me by my tacos.” LOL
this “no giving away strumming patterns” is total bs, how am I going to learn to play

My thoughts
For strum I used d d u u d u
for “I got my ticket for the long way round.” I do A minor, F, and then C. Then It sounds really good.

this song was so great to help me learn Thank you so muck
I loved this song!??❤❤
I sooooo love pp! ❤️ Dis song
i think it sounds better with a capo on the first fret
yay now i can record me playing the uke for this, then put that on top of me doing the actual cup trick 😀
yay
I’ve got my girl for the long way ‘round
The one with the prettiest of faces
She’s got makeup, she’s got Gucci, she’s got sights to give you smiles
But it sure would be prettier with me
Talk about independent? A very headstrong woman. I admire that. I think a straight strum is really good for this song.
I just do D U for the strumming pattern and I think it sounds nice.

This is fun to play
This site is pretty awesome. Sometimes I’d like to be able to hear the song played as written though so I can improve my timing.
I use DUDUDU for the song but in the verses “When I’m gone” I add one single down more so: DD UDUDU.
And I like play single down strum in “It’s got (F / /) mountains, it’s got (Am / /) rivers, it’s got (C / / / ) sights to give you shivers (and then on the next verse keep doing DUDUDU).
I think this makes the song more funny to play.
