4 ukulele chords used in "Come Together" by The Beatles: A, Bm, Dm and G

A – – – – – –
E 1 1 – – 1 –
C 2 2 0h2 – 2
G 2 2 – – – –
I play A after Bm in the chorus. It sounds much better and like the original 🙂
the riff is
A———————-
E——–1b*————
C-2-2——————
G—-0h2—————
*hold the and bend to add some flare 😉
I do something like this and it sounds pretty good:
A – – – – – – – –8 –5 10–10–8
E – – – 1h3s(8)– – –
C 2–2 – – – – – – – – x 3 and then on the 4th add:
G – – – – – – – – – –
This is how I teach the main riff to my students. Sounds great in a group.
A——————————–
E–1-1——————1——
C–2-2–0(h)1(h)2—-2–
G–2-2————————-
In the opening I usually make a DM chord . Pluck all 4 strings at once . Keeping the DM formation hammer on the E string . Then pluck the C string . I do this twice then play the verse . I do this little riff between each verse . The. On the chorus. I play G instead of BM .
and with -2 instead of the cool riff i’ve just been playing the CM chord and then i pluck the C string, then pluck c3, then pluck c2 (sorry if I wrote that wrong I’m a beginner lol). it doesn’t sound nearly as good but it works alright!
I like -2
Very fun to play.
between each verse I play dm,a7,and F and then building up a g just to fill the gaps between each verse.
riff:
A -0-0—–
E -1-1—-1
C -2-2-0-1-
G -2-2—–
you’re welcome
when i play ” come together, right now”, right after the g chord i put an a chord there and it sounds more like the original 🙂
i like to add a final D at the very end to finish it 🙂
TO ANY LOOKING FOR THE DODIE/JON VERSION ITS +5 BUT U DO HAVE TO CHANGE THE CHORDS AND I DK HOW TO DO THAT SORRY
If you want to do the riff without picking, you can do F F Bm F D a couple times.
i just play this
Dm
A – – – 8 – –
E – – – – 10 –
C 2 2 9 – – –
G – – – – – –
A7
A – – – – – –
E – – – 8 – –
C – – – – 9 –
G 2 2 9 – – –
I’m not sure if it’s 100% correct but I like to do
A ———————
E ———–6^(7)—
C -0-0-5/7——-7~
G ——————–
/ = slide up
^() = bend string to sound like fret in bracket
~ = wiggle/bend the string to sound really cool and blues-y
Again I’m not 100% sure it’s right but it’s super fun to play and sounds cool, plus it’s relatively easy!
Personally I do the riff
A – – – – 5 0
E 1 1 1/4 – –
C 2 2 – – – –
G 2 2 – – – –
but that just me I like the sound that it gives off with the slide
you can pull off on the 5 0 but I think it sounds better with out
i think -2 is sounds pretty good and it isn’t too hard either
