the second C ( c am C g ) should actually be an F, it just sound better, and every version of this song i’v played, as it ( c am F g)
(same with every verse)
C
the weight
G
of a simple human emotion
Am
weighs me down
F
more then a tank ever did
and
C
i don’t want to let this go
Am
i don’t want to lose control
F
i just want to see the stars
G
with you
It helps to play the chours first and get the feel before playing it through, it really doesn’t sound so bad once you get the tune in your head, even though I think that the song is originally in a different key.
On the very last You at the end I like to play C. Idk why it just sounds better to me.
DD-DUD is good for this song
im crying
thank you so much.
i love this song!
currently reading tfios and omgomg so good
everyone must read it
and play this song
thank you ily
this song remind me of when i was first diagnosed…
If you want the original key, go down four steps. It’ll be Eb, Fm, and Ab.
what is the strumming pattern?
Whats a good stumming pattern
playing this song at my best friends memorial. its such a beautiful song. thanks!
I think that in the chorus the Cmaj is on “let” and not at the beginning.
This is just my opinion, but I think it sounds WAY better with a capo on the 3rd fret, at least for my voice anyway…
For the +3 version, I repeat Eb and Cm, add an F at the end for the same place as my last comment.
I like to put a sequence of C and G back and forth a couple of times like it sounds in the song before “with you” at the very and of the song, it gives more closure in my opinion and sounds good. 🙂
I personally go down to -5 it sounds more like the song and the chords aren’t hard
Hey!!! So uh this sounds awful.
After playing around, I got C G D Am C for the verses and just C G C D for the chorus
Thank you for making this!!!!!!
This doesn’t sound right at all
i like it better on the chorus playing C, Am, F, G7 in the same rythm
