The chord played at the beginning is a muted C

Usually the strumming pattern is dduudu, but a easier pattern is one strum.

I love this song and I’m so happy I found it on here to learn how to play it. I used the strumming pattern DDUUDU. I think it works really well and didn’t go as fast as the actual song goes. (Also guilty of screaming “So I just might beCOME SOMEONE)

Strumming pattern is supposedly dduudu, and that the strumming pattern I use, and I am having trouble with Bbm, but overall this app is great.

Play a C and mute GCE strings and you get the chord

the strumming pattern is DDU UDU UDUDUDU with the last part played pretty fast. It’s hard to sing but that’s how Tyler plays it almost all the time other times I think he just does random strums so you can play the song like that. (Singing with that strumming pattern is hard but possible)

it is a muted c. lightly press all of the 2nd fret with your index finger and play a c with your middle. that’s what I do at least

i do a c chord while muting the rest for the whole first bit then at the second “she asked me son” I unmute and play the rest of the song like it says.

It’s just C, put they keep the other string muted. I just lightly rest a finger over them
