Okay guys! So the first part makes no sense on this, so I’d thought I’d help out since I was confused, too. For the opening I would recommend playing this tablature twice:

A———0——0—————0——
E——0——0——0——0———-
C—1———————2—————
Also there doesn’t need to be any thing with the g-string, hopefully you know how to read tabletures :) Another reminder is that if you need help with the timing of this, listen to the beginning on YouTube, and that is the pattern you would want to do!

Dori

So much better!

Ukulele girl

That’s is totes better. The original one really doesn’t make any sense >_<

Nana

Just to give my 2cents, I play it like this (twice):

A———–2——-2————–3–
E——-3——3——-3——–3—
C–2————————2———
G————————————–

I think it sounds good, and you just put your fingers as if you were playing a G chord. Hope it helos :)

meme

Its good, but maybe try C maj the second time. I use 0433 Cmaj

EpiclyIvanYT

Thnx this helped SO MUCH

EpiclyIvanYT

I do it like this

A—0—–0

E–0–0-0–0

C-1—-2—- (x2)

uh I’m pretty sure the lyrics are shortened? There’s a lot missing I think…

Clime gen

Yeah, in the first stanza it says “and rainbows have nothing to hide”, and then goes straight to “what’s so amazing” when it is supposed to say “So we’ve been told and some chose to believe it
But I know they’re wrong wait and see”, and therefore removing the whole rest of the rainbow stanza and the whole first part of the star stanza, and doesn’t make much sense. Also, for some reason, it says “What’s so amazing is that it keeps us star gazing” Instead of “What’s so amazing
That keeps us star gazing”. There are some other parts missing and/or wrong, and there is an extra part that Kermit does in the song from the movie where it goes
“Someday we’ll find it
The Rainbow Connection
The lovers, the dreamers,
and me…
All of us under its spell
we know, that it’s probably magic…
Have you been half asleep…” and the rest of the song continues with the last stanza I just think that as the bridge this is a kind of important part of the song, though, in their defense, it is not included on the lyric sheet if you search Rainbow connection Lyrics. So yeah. Thank you

Nico

No the song just missing the la la de la do

Samsquatch

Yes!!! Missing half the song!!!

Mira Black

All of us under it’s spell, you know that it’s probably magic..(then it modulates to the next first)

therealkermit

oop these arent the lyrics

Mira Black

Who said that every wish
Would be heard and answered
When wished on the morning star
Somebody thought of that
And someone believed it
And look what it’s done so far
What’s so amazing
That keeps us star gazing
What so we think we might see

Michael

This is all wrong! You are missing like half of the song! PLUS… the intro makes no sense at all.

UkuTigerGirl

Playing this for my dad’s birthday today and am extremely excited

Endormi3

On the last line of the first verse (on 0) it’s Dbm7 and Gbmaj (F#maj) instead of A and Gbm :)

Ukulele and me

+3 is so much easier it has the really basic chords. I’m really glad this is on here I love the muppets

Mira Black

“Ooooohh and that I think it could be” I believe the correct lyric is “IT’S SOMETHING THAT I’M SUPPOSE TO BE”

ubuIbme

The lyrics are mixing two verses together and is missing a verse.
