 Say you're sorry
       Bb
 That face of an angel

Comes out just when you need it to
F Bb
As I paced back and forth all this time

'Cause I honestly believed in you
 Dm
 Holding on
      Bb
 The days drag on
         C
 Stupid girl,

I should have known, I should have known

                 F Dm
That I'm not a princess, this ain't a fairytale

This ain't Hollywood, this is a small town

Now it's too late for you
           Bb F - F -
And your white horse, to come around

F
 Maybe I was naive,
Bb
 Got lost in your eyes
     Dm Bb
And never really had a chance
F Bb
My mistake I didn't know to be in love
            Dm Bb
You had to fight to have the upper hand

 I had so many dreams
       Bb
 About you and me
       C
 Happy endings, now I know

That I'm not a princess, this ain't a fairytale

I'm not the one you'll sweep off her feet

Lead her up the stairwell
           F Dm
This ain't Hollywood, this is a small town
          Bb C
I was a dreamer before you went and let me down

Now it's too late for you

And your white horse, to come around

Dm C Bb
And there you are on your knees
F C Bb
Begging for forgiveness, begging for me
F C Bb Eb
Just like I always wanted but I'm so sorry

                      F Dm
'Cause I'm not your princess, this ain't a fairytale

I'm gonna find someone someday who might actually treat me well

This is a big world, that was a small town
            Bb C
There in my rearview mirror disappearing now

    Strumming pattern I use: DD U DD U D U
During quick transitions I only use: DD U (1st chord in transition) —> DD U D (2nd chord in transition)
(I hope this makes sense or helps anyone)

  2. A good strum would be D-mute-U-D-mute

  3. Strumming pattern??

  4. CharPlaysUkulele?

    1st finger: 2nd Finger: 3rd finger: 4th finger:
    3rd Fret 2nd Fret 1st Fret 1st Fret

    I hope that helps!

your first finger covers the bottom two strings first fret, your middle finger on the third string second fret, and your fourth finger on the forth string third fret

    kinda looks like this

    l x l l
    l x l l
    l — l x l
    l — l — l x
