Intro: C

Verse:
      Am F
All I knew this morning when I woke
                       G - mute -
Is I know something now, know something now
               C
I didn't before
             Am F
And all I've seen since 18 hours ago
Is green eyes and freckles and your smile in
    G C
The back of my mind making me feel right

Pre-Chorus:
                                    Dm7 F
I just want to know you better know, you better know you, better now
                                    Am G C
I just want to know you better know, you better know, you better now
                                    Dm7 F
I just want to know you better know, you better know, you better now
                         Am G
I just want to know you, know you, know you

Chorus:
      C
Cause all I know is we said hello
    Am
And your eyes look like coming home
  G F
All I know is a simple name, everything has changed
C
All I know is you held the door
Am
You'll be mine and I'll be yours
  G F - once -
All I know since yesterday, is everything has changed

Interlude: C

Verse:
           Am F
And all my walls stood tall, painted blue
                       G
But I'll take them down, take them down
   - mute - C
And open up the door for you
          Am F
And all I feel in my stomach is butterflies
The beautiful kind, making up for lost time
G C
Taking flight, making me feel right

Pre-Chorus:
                                    Dm7 F
I just want to know you better know, you better know you, better now
                                    Am G C
I just want to know you better know, you better know, you better now
                                    Dm7 F
I just want to know you better know, you better know, you better now
                         Am G
I just want to know you, know you, know you

Chorus:
      C
Cause all I know is we said hello
    Am
And your eyes look like coming home

All I know is a simple name, everything has changed

  G F Am

Come back and tell me why
                      C G

If you put it on +1 and play Am instead of Am7 it sounds really good.

eenglshrose

I love this tab, but it’s easier in -1, and if you want to stay in the original key, you can put a capo on 1. Also, small lyric error in that it’s “all I know is a newfound grace”. Other than that, absolutely wonderful, thank you!

Evelyn

+1 is by far the easiest, also in the outro it’s newfound grace not brightness :)

Uke kid

-1 is easy and sounds great

lalizzziela

-6 is great!!

Alex

I 100% agree, but I am having a little trouble doing the Dm7 chord….any suggestions on what I could replace it with?

Ramskii

can I replace the chord abm7 to an easier chord?

Emma

Changing the key to -1 will make this song so much easier.

De
