Stopped at a streetlight

this song gets me everytime 💛for the strumming pattern i did a single stroke and then DDU for prechorus and the chorus. i think it sounds pretty if you do single stroke on “the worst thing that i ever did” part too.

Ally

Instead of the two Cs side by side at the beginning of each verse I changed the second C to a G; I think it sounds much more fluid. After the key change I switched the second D to an A, not sure if another chord would suit better but it seems ok.. hope this helps!

Ely

if you don’t feel ✨comfortable✨ saying “tell me to go **** myself” the non-explicit version says “tell me to go straight to hell”. it’s a nice alternative and it has the same meaning :>

Bella

Please listen to the original then LOLO’s version from betty’s view. And then the cover from August/Inez’s point of view on YouTube it really tells the story.

Kenzie Corcoran

anyone know the strumming pattern??

mathilde

I used DD-UDU, single stroke at first and last “the wrost thing that i ever did”!

zoe

i used DdDd which is just soft and light strums and i think it sounds really good. i also did the same as other people on the “worst thing that I ever did” with single strum:) I feel this song you can also use judgement as to when strumming should be soft/hard.

zoe

wait sorry meant soft and hard strums not soft nd light whoops

Pearl

I loooove this song! I think its so cool that taylor has matured and is singing more sof songs than her upbeat reputation! Thanks! this was so much help!
