Steven:
Dm7 G7
Life and death and love and birth
    Cmaj7 Am
And peace and war on the planet Earth
Dm7 G7
   Is there anything that's worth
          Cmaj7 Am
More than peace and love on the planet Earth
   Dm7 G7
Whoahh come on and sing it with me -sing-
Cmaj7 Am
The words relate to the key -key-
Dm7 G7
   If it's a pattern, if it's a pattern
Cmaj7 Am
     Then just repeat after me

Dm7 G7
Life and death and love and birth

Peridot:
Cmaj7 Am
Life and death and love and birth

Steven:
           Dm7 G7
Then using mi-fa-mi-mi-fa-mi-ti-la

Both:
     Cmaj7 Am
And peace and war on the planet Earth

Steven:
Dm7
   Yes yes! That's it!

Peridot:
G
 That's so easy

Steven:
Cmaj7 Am
Yeah but that's what's fun about it
               Dm7 G7
You should write something, you should write a song!

Peridot:

About what?

Steven:
      Cmaj7 Am
Whatever you're thinking

Peridot:
                      Dm7 G7
I guess we're already here
                Cmaj7 Am
I guess we already know
                          E7
We've all got something to fear
                       Am
We've all got nowhere to go
                     Dm7
I think you're all insane!
             Cmaj7 Am
But I guess I am too
              Dm7
Anybody would be
             G7 Cmaj7
If they were stuck on Earth with you!

Steven:
      Cadd9
Hehehehe yes!
Dm7 G7
Life and death and love and birth

Amethyst:
Cmaj7 Am
Life and death and love and birth

Pearl:
Dm7 G7
Life and death and love and birth and
 Cmaj7 Am
peace and war on the planet Earth

Garnet:
Dm7 G7
Is there anything that's worth more

Steven:
Cmaj7 Am
Is there anything that's worth more

Peridot:
Dm7 G7
Is there anything that's worth more
     Cmaj7 Am
Than peace and love on the planet Earth

Just do a Dm instead of a Dm7 it is so much easier and sounds the same

On Dm7, I think its easier and faster to not add the 4th finger.

i think -2 is the easiest, and the best for a medium sounding voice. Thanks for this!

The strumming pattern that should be used is DD 2 3 (2 as in second string and 3 as in third string)
The only part of the song that you don’t use it is during the,”common and sing it with me” part and for that you just do one down strum on G and Am. And on Dm7 do the first down strum with out the pinky finger

Strumming pattern is D-H D-H then pluck the A then E string.

I tried DD then going up (fingerpicking) 2 and 3. It sounds good.
