Ab Fm
At least I avoided cliché
        Ab G G7
Holding nobody's hand along the Champs-Élysées

Breaking bread, sipping wine
          Ab
Meant for two

       Ab Fm
It's a beautiful city for saps
    Ab G G7
But turn out the lights, we're too clever for that
      Dbmaj7 Eb7
And I know, I know we're not in love
    Dbm7 Ab
But we'd fool this old town
         Fm Db Eb7
With the view of us, thoughts from the tourist
Dbm7
Alone

Verse:
         Ab Fm
We could fall for the streets of Paris

But the Eiffel's a joke and the punchline is me

And you know, you know it's not funny
    Dbm7 Ab
But we'd laugh 'till it was

Just the two of us, thoughts from the tourist
Dbm7
Alone

To survive on a lie we couldn't endure

There’s a much better version, like flyinhawaiian said.It also provides a ‘strum pattern’ of sorts, so you can play exactly how Jon did.I feel this version is inaccurate

caligumu

I think Aaug sounds better in this if you play the A string open :) (i’ve been plucking the 2nd string than the 3rd and 4th together twice)

tattooed_ukulele2503

+3 is probably the easiest you can get

Mary

Gbmin is the same as F#m for all of those wondering

Mary

Also, Ab7 can be substituted for just barring the 3rd fret if you’re having issues

sspooner554

instead of Dmin7 play Dm

kascourtney

strumming pattern? anybody got one that works?

nokeydope

pluck second string then then third twice then play bottom three strings for each chord in intro then i think d u d u d on bottom three strings ?

mbglowworm

DDUDU

abulele

(In terms of tab) pluck the C string, then strum twice [repeat this for the intro and first line until Ab and Ab7 which you just need one down strum for each]
Then the rest of the chords (D, Dm.. etc) are just D, D-U, D-U

So; 3, D-D, 3, D-D

If this all makes no sense then watch the Ukulele Teacher’s video on this song on youtube

ash

the dmin7 is actually a D minor (aka 2210)

Bippus
