I played this song for my little sisters funeral, she was 11 and this was her favorite song in the world. Please pray that Kiera made it to heaven, she was hit by a car and 2 days later passed away.

Bailey

Oh gee I am truly sorry to hear that

LittleDreamer

Emma

Rohana Wilson

peppa

Livie

Chi

So so sorry to hear! Send my love to you and your family

Laie

I know you know I’m sorry. But I want you to know that I will think of her every time I play this song. I want you to know that my love for you both is infinate. I don’t need to meet you to know that.

LittleDreamer

I am truly sorry I am crying

Livie

I am so, so sorry to hear that! As soon as I read this, I started crying. Praying for you and your family

Chi

When it says “you may say I’m a dreamer” instead of playing C, Cmaj, E E7 I play F G C E7. I hope that this is helpful, that’s just what I think sounds right

LittleDreamer

i love this song!

Laie

Strumming pattern for the pickup of the song? I use down strums for the slow bits, but I’m not sure what to use for the faster parts :/

Aubree Bingham

The lyrics in this are in the wrong order

MissAivil

yea… “no need for greed or hunger” and “nothing to kill or die for” should be switched…

Ukulelequeen13

For “above us only sky”,”no religion too” I play an Em. It sounds really pretty. And for “a brotherhood of man” I play an A

Mila

For the ‘imagine all the people..’ I do plucking down from g to a and for the chorus + pre-chorus I do F/ am/ dm/ etc.

makaylasilva

Personally, i think +7 is slightly easier! :)
Just an FYI, “No need for greed or hunger,” and “Nothing to kill or die for” actually is sung later on towards the end of the original. Other than that, it was very helpful!

heres/the/tab

In the song for the piano intro i do this on my uke– :)
(F)
A|—————-2h3————————0h2h3
E|0—0—0————–1—–1——1—-
C|–0—0—0—————0——0—-0–
G|0—0—0————–2—–2——2—

Natalie

sounds good to me, you can also do the plucking pattern like this though:
A|3- – -3- – -3- – -2- – -0- – -0- – -0- – – – – –
E|0- – -0- – -0- – -0- – -1- – -1- – -1- – – – – –
C|- -0- – -0- – -0- – -0- – -0- – -0- – -0- – –
G|0- – -0- – -0- – -0- – -2- – -2- – -2- – –
2-3-4
