Intro - play riff below or E B Dbm A -:

Well, you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you’re so hot that I melted
  Dbm A
I fell right through the cracks, and I’m trying to get back

Before the cool done run out I’ll be giving it my best test
And nothing’s gonna stop me but divine intervention
  Dbm A
I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some

    E B
But I won't hesitate no more,
            Dbm A
No more, it cannot wait I’m yours

Interlude: E B Dbm A

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Dbm A
Look into your heart and you'll find love love love love
Listen to the music of the moment people dance and sing
We are just one big family
Dbm A Gb7
It’s your god forsaken right to be loved, loved, loved, loved

E B
So, I won't hesitate no more,
         Dbm A
No more, it cannot wait I’m sure
E B
There’s no need to complicate our time is short
Dbm A
This is our fate, I’m yours

-d-do do you but do you, d-d-do but you want to come one
Scooch one over closer dear and I will nibble your ear
Bap bap bap woooooo ho ho ooooh

I've been spending' way too long checking' my tongue in the mirror
And bending' over backwards just to try to see it clearer
My breath fogged up the glass
And so I drew a new face and laughed
I guess what I'm a saying’s there isn’t no better reason
To rid yourself of vanity and just go with the seasons
It’s what we aim to do
Our name is our virtue

    E B
But I won't hesitate no more,
            Dbm A
No more, it cannot wait I’m yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Dbm B
Look into your heart and you'll find, that the sky is yours

So please don’t, don’t please don’t
- There’s no need to complicated -
Cause our time is short
This is, this is, this is our fate
I’m yours

  1. Just gonna point out that in the second verse I’m pretty sure it’s actually “bestest”, not “best test”. Also I use DDUDU for a strumming pattern and switch to just strumming on the beat in the chorus.

  2. Ukulele girl

The strumming pattern dduudu sounds the best in my opinion

  3. I believe the actual song is in C# so if you put a capo on first fret and play the same chords it matches the actual key of the song

  4. LetsRaidArea51Together

My strumming pattern is DDUUDU and repeat

  5. what chords should I play for the bridge?

  6. I use DUDUDUDU with an accent on every other down

  7. ARMY

  8. Drm4rt3n5

I came here because of coconut coconut sharks in the water

    • you have to slide your finger from the 3 to the 5

    • It means slide! So you would have to slide your finger from the 3rd fret to the 5th fret without taking your finger off and stopping the sound

    • It means slide! So 3s5 means you play the note on the 3rd fret and then you slide your finger to the 5th fret while the note is still sounding

  10. Wooptie doo

I use the slides and then replace the strumming part with the intro chords. So for example the first one would be like 3s5 on E and A and then C chord :)

  11. just so you guys know, the strumming pattern is u-d-u mute over and over again throughout the song but if you are not at that level and want it to be easier you could just do one strum per cord if that makes any sense! let me know if that was helpful.

  12. Billy joel

I use the strumming pattern DDUUDUDDU

  13. Angiee M

For this song, I use the strumming pattern:
    It works for each chord.

  14. thats rly good thanks!

  15. I think the last part when they sing -the sky is yours- should be an F chord, also for the bottom bit just kwwp on using C, G, Am and F ;)

  16. This really helped thank you!!!

  17. It sounds good when using DDUUDU-UDU for each cord.

  18. Does anyone know of a better tab for the intro? it just sounds kinda, naf to me? idk its weird, might be my playing but from what i see ive got it right and its juse not nice and dont fit? tia x

    • xA|—-3s5—-3———3s5——2————-0——-0—–0
      ^ ^ ^ ^
The chords with a ^ under them I held for 2 full strumming patterns.
DDU UDU or DUDU UDU both work

  19. my strumming pattern for this song is down-down-up-up-down and repeat. it really works

  20. Uke'n do it!

    Single down strum
    UDUmute ×4each chord
    DUmute ×4each chord
    duDuduD ×2each chord
