Intro:
Bb D Eb Gb
Bb Eb Bb

Verse 1:
    Bb D Eb Ebm
Oh come and see the opening band
    Bb D
Now that you've got your tickets
    Eb Gb
And beverages in hand
     Bb D
They look so tired, sound uninspired
   Eb Gb
Guitars are secondhand
       Bb Eb Bb F
'Cause no one likes an opening band

Verse 2:
  Bb D Eb Gb
Nobody likes the opening band
      Bb D
Their set time's far too early
         Gm Eb
And I've never heard of them
    Bb D
And chances are they won't go far
   Eb Gb
Career is sure to end
       Bb Eb Bb F
'Cause no one likes an opening band

Bridge:
Gm Eb Bb F
Oh, unfamiliar things will make us nervous
Gm Eb Bb F
But, singing here for you gives me a purpose

Verse 3:
F Bbm Bb D Eb Ebm
So, Take pity on the opening bands
       Bb D
'Cause no one came to see them
  Gm Eb
Except their mom and dad
    Bb D
But if you lend an ear
              Eb Gb
And give them just one little chance
    Bb
You may just like the
    Gm Gb
You may just like the
Bb F Bb D Eb Gb
You may just like the opening, band

Hey has anyone noticed how below the coments it tells you not to ask for a strumming pattern? On a completely related note does anyone have a strumming pattern? Asking for a friend.

    Hey whatsablurryface

Index on 2nd fret (a string)
    Middle, ring and pinky on 4th fret (g,c and e :> )

  4. -3 is way easier but you need to use a capo one the first fret.

  9. yall instead of playing and F in the verse, cause it sounds slightly odd, try keeping your finger on C# from the chord beforehand (first fret, second string down) and play a normal F chord with the C#, then the A like normal. hopefully this helped sorta

You can either bar it or play it with three fingers, either way it’s easier than the one they show. :)
