Verse:
Gb Db Ebm B
I gave all my oxygen to people that could breath
   Gb Db Ebm B
I gave away my money and now we don't even speak
  Gb Db Ebm Db B
I drove miles and miles, but would you do the same for me?
   Gb Db Gb
Oh ho-o-onestly

Gb Db Ebm B
Offered off my shoulder just for you to cry upon
Gb Db Ebm B
Gave you constant shelter and a bed to keep you warm
Gb Db Ebm Db B
They gave me the heartache and in return I gave a song
         Gb Db Gb
Its goes o-o-on and on

Chorus:
B Gb Db Gb
Life can get you down so I just numb the way it feels
  B Gb Db Db Ebm
I drown it with a drink and out of date prescription pills
    B Db Ebm Db B
And all the ones that love me they just left me on the shelf
           Ab7
My farewell
            Abm7 Abm7 Gb B Db Gb
So before I save someone else, I've got to save myself

Verse:
  Gb Db Ebm B
I gave you all my energy and I took away your pain
       Gb Db Ebm B
'Cause human beings are destined to radiate or drain
 Gb Db Ebm Db B
What line do we stand upon 'cause from here it looks the same?
    Gb Db Gb
And only scars remain

Chorus:
B Gb Db Gb
Life can get you down so I just numb the way it feels
  B Gb Db Db Ebm
I drown it with a drink and out of date prescription pills
    B Db Ebm Db B
And all the ones that love me they just left me on the shelf
           Ab7
My farewell
            Abm7 Abm7 Gb B Db Gb
So before I save someone else, I've got to save myself

Bridge:
         Ebm B
But if I don't, then I'll go back
                Gb
To where I'm rescuing a stranger
        Db Ebm
Just because they needed saving just like that
              B
Oh, I'm here again
            Gb
Between the devil and the danger
       Db
But I guess it's just my nature
            B
My dad was wrong
                        Db
'Cause I'm not like my mum
                   Ebm Db B
'Cause she'd just smile and I'm complaining in a song
       Ab7
But it helps
            Abm7 Abm7 Gb B Db Gb
So before I save someone else, I've got to save myself

Chorus:

  B Gb Db Db Ebm

    B Db Ebm Db B
And all the ones that love me they just left me on the shelf
           Ab7
My farewell
            Abm7 Abm7 Gb B Db Gb
So before I save someone else, I've got to save myself
             Abm7 Abm7 Gb B Db Gb

             Abm7 Abm7 Gb B Db Gb
And before I love someone else, I've got to love myself

instead of doing playing D on the word ‘prescription’ you could play a b7 (4310). Its cooler and more like the actual song. this is really gr8 though thx
