i really like using Cm instead of Gmaj7 to me it seems warmer (if that makes sense) super cute song though, thank you for the TAB

  3. Lillian Beiting

I also enjoy putting a Dsus4 (slowly) after the “Everyday words seem to turn into love songs”

    • Naya Canselo

They forgot the french part of the song. It is moderately about the same length as the english part. It goes right before this part right here. It has the same chords and everything, but it is very fun to try so I don’t see why they didn’t include it.

  4. Why thats so shoooort

  5. Joseph Segura martell

    what’s the strum pattern

  6. Clara Evans

The hawiian version of D7 sounds better (first finger, second fret on G, Second finger second fret on E)

  7. “Kids, I must’ve heard your mom’s rendition of ‘La Vie en Rose’ a million times over the years. Every night when she tucked you in, for instance. But that performance, that first night I ever heard her sing, that one will always be my favourite.”

    • canadian

look up the dodie version if you want french and english :) this version is from a tv show, and in the show it only used the english part. good luck! :)

    • Ukuchild

The French version is in -1, and go on YouTube and memorize the French verse if you haven’t. Then sing the French version and the chords will be played at the same time as the English version, just different language.

Might be just me but D7 sounds really bad after the first strum. Did anyone else get this and if so what did you change it to

    • Farida Mansour

yeah it didnt sound so good. i changed it to Am D. it sounded nice and in the first verse “this is la vie en rose” thats what they used too.

    • Clara Evans

The hawiian version of D7 sounds better (first finger, second fret on G, Second finger second fret on E)
