Intro: Ab Abmaj7 Fm Bbm Eb Eb7

Ab Abmaj7
Hold me close and hold me fast
                     Fm
The magic spells you cast
                  Bbm Eb
This is La Vie en ros-e

                        Eb7
When you kiss me heaven sighs
                      Eb
And though I close my eyes
                Ebsus4 Eb7
I see La Vie en ros-e

Ab Abmaj7
When you press me to your heart
                Fm
I'm in a world apart
                    Db
a world where roses bloom

Bbm Ab
And when you speak angels sing from above
Bbm Eb
Everyday words seem to turn into love songs

Ab Abmaj7
Give your heart and soul to me
                     Db
And life will always be
   Bbm Eb Ab
La Vie en rose

  2. my fingers aren’t long enough :'(

  3. Does anyone know where to find the tabs that were here before? It has been changed and I really enjoyed playing the old version! Thanks!

  4. okay, but who’s gonna sing it in French :p

  5. +5

  6. Regarding Kris’s comment: It looks like this song is defaulting to a transposed version. If the song begins with anything other than G, zero out the transpose feature to get it in the original key.

  7. For some reason it seems to load automatically on transposed +2. To get it to normal just click transpose 0 at the top.

  8. What strum pattern do you use for this??

  9. KrisScoggin

this doesnt sound right.it should start out with G

  10. Camille Ramos

I played the other version for my wedding and now it’s gone and I feel sad because I’ve forgotten that version. I loved the way it was before. This one confuses me.

  11. skye Wolden

G Gmaj Em Am D seems to work better for me anyways

  12. rgalmazar

What happened to the fingerstyle tabs? They used to be here, even had it bookmarked but its gone

  13. rileygeyerrr

    @micha.nadwodny THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

  14. micah.nadwodny

If you change the transpose then go back to 0 it’s really easy and sounds exactly the same. There is a glitch so you have to change the transpose then go back to 0

  15. The tabs changed!
They were not like this before…they were better :/

  16. Thanks this is so beautiful song and chords.

  17. This song is by Louis Armstrong

    • Not writing my name

I’m sure the person that wrote this knows that but, this is the version performed by Cristin Milioti an American actress that performed this in How I Met Your Mother

  18. Tonedeafparrot

I’m pretty sure that there’s a D7 at the end of “…everyday words seem to turn into love songs”

  19. transpose +5 is easier and sounds reeeallly nice!

  20. KiddleKaroo
