Verse 1:
G Bm Am D7
Sleeping has never been so ea-sy
G Bm Am D7
Though I'll still toss and twitch my feet
G Bm Am D7
You occupy every one of my dreams
G Bm Am D7
Makes closing my eyes easier than it seems

Verse 2:
C D7 G
And if it seems you don’t feel the same
                      G7
That’s alright with me
C D7 G E7
I understand with me isn't quite the best place to be
C D7 G E7
But your smile reminds me of a place that I can’t put my finger on so
Am D7 G
Just say the word and I’m gone

Interlude:
Bm Am Ebdim7
Gmaj7 Bm Am Ebdim7

Verse 3:
G Bm Am D7
I linger on all the things that you’ve said to me
G Bm Am D7
        Always wanna be your flower
G Bm Am D7
I wanna make you feel real easy
G Bm Am D7
I wanna hear you talk for hours

Bridge:
C Cm
And baby love, if it’s bad
                             G
If it’s not what you’d hoped for
        G7 C
You can always take it back
C Cm
   I’d give you what I can't afford
                            E
‘cause everything you do I adore
   Am
So maybe you could let me hold your hand real tight
                                   D7
And tell you why the sea reminds me of you

Verse 4:
     G Bm Am D7
And then sleeping has never been so ea-sy
G Bm Am D7
Though I wish that you could be near
G Bm Am D7
It feels like I’ve fallen for you completely
G Bm Am D7 G
Maybe it’s best that you can’t be here

sometimes it helps to bar the whole first fret instead of just the E and A strings

I like to bar the 3rd and 4th string, and use my middle and ring finger for the rest.

If u keep working on it I promise it gets easier. I like to work on the hard parts the most so I can get the hang of them my fingers might kill me but I always think it’s worth it. Then again that is up for opinion lol.

i’ve been been practicing it a lot because it’s in another song i’ve been playing and it definitely has gotten easier!

I played -2 with a capo on the second fret and I just strummed down twice for each cord cause It sounds really close to the original :)
