I like to play in the into a G with the strumming D DUDU but on the last up I play a C and then pluck the open C string open G string and then open C open A (I hope it makes sense)

agreed, +2 is fairly easy and is way easier for my soprano voice to reach

some of the Am can be changed to Am7 and it sounds much more dynamic
