Intro: Db

Verse 1:
     Db
I wrote to you within a melody
         Ab Gb
If you decide to sing, would you sing it back to me
                                     Bbm Gb
Sing it right through those crooked teeth
       Db
You rescued me when my mind was in a prison
     Ab Gb
You set me free, when no one else would listen
                         Bbm Gb
Now I finally feel complete

Pre-Chorus 1:
   Bbm Gb Db
And I will follow you
      Gb Db
Into the sea of eternity

Chorus:
 Db Gb Bbm Ab
Collapse into my arms
       Gb Db Bbm Ab
I'll take care of your heart
              Gb Db
Though the distance grows between us girl
Bbm Ab
Our love won't fall apart
      Gb Ab
I'll take care of your heart
                         Db
No matter where we are

Verse 2:
 Db G
I know you feel so incomplete
      Ab G
The world is nothing without you, you see
   Gb Db
If I had to spend my dying breath
    Bbm Gb
Convincing you of nothing less
   Db A Ab Gb
You're lovely, yeah you're so lovely
 Gb G Db Bbm
And I'm so lucky, so damn lucky
 Gb Ab
And I need you to know that

Pre-Chorus 2:
Bbm Gb Db Gb Bbm
I'm incomplete, yet completely free
 Ab
When you...

Chorus:
    Gb Db Bbm Ab
Collapse into my arms
      Gb Db Bbm Ab
I'll take care of your heart
Ab Gb Db
Though the distance grows between us girl
     Bbm Ab
Our love won't fall apart
      Gb Ab
I'll take care of your heart
            Db
No matter where we are

Interlude: Db Ab Gb Ab

Bridge:
  Ab Db Ab
Some day despite our age
  Ab Gb
We'll turn the page
           Ab
And our daughter will...

Chorus:
   Gb Db Bbm Ab
Collapse into my arms
          Gb Db Bbm Ab
And I'll take care of her heart
           Gb Db
Though the distance grows between us girl
     Bbm Ab
Our love won't fall apart
      Gb Db Bbm
I'll take care of your heart
     Ab Gb Bbm Db
No matter where we are
 Bbm Ab Gb Bbm Db
I'll take care of your heart
   Ab Db
No matter where we are

bear trap

several things:
first off, the Eb and Db are unnecessary. he just mutes the strings in the actual song. where ever there’s a Db or Eb, just mute.
second, the bridge has a plucking pattern of C, E, G, A (the chords themselves are good)
overall, great that this song was added!

Hello ?

Instead of D I just barre the second fret (bm7 if you wanna know the chord) I personally think it sounds better than D :) also for the actual song for the plucking it’s C, E, G, A but I do C, E, A, G I don’t know why I just think it sounds better
