Intro: Emaj7 Bmaj7 Dbm Bmaj7

Verse 1:
Emaj7
Don't be that way
      Bmaj7
Fall apart twice a day
       Dbm Bmaj7
I just wish you could feel what you say
Emaj7
Show, never tell
      Bmaj7
But I know you too well
        Dbm Gb Gbsus4 Gb
Kind of mood that you wish you could sell

Chorus:
   Emaj7
If teardrops could be bottled
           Bmaj7
There'd be swimming pools filled by models
            Dbm Eb
Told "that tight dress is what makes you a whore"
      Emaj7
If "I love you" was a promise
          Bmaj7
Would you break it, if you're honest
         Dbm Gb Gbsus4 Gb
Tell the mirror what you know she's heard before
Emaj7 Eb Abm

Verse 2:
Emaj7
Hands getting cold
       Bmaj7
Losing feeling's getting old
      Dbm Bmaj7
Was I made from a broken mold?
Emaj7
Hurt, I can't shake
           Bmaj7
We've made every mistake
     Dbm Gb Gbsus4 Gb
Only you know the way that I break

Chorus:
   Emaj7
If teardrops could be bottled
           Bmaj7
There'd be swimming pools filled by models
            Dbm Eb
Told "that tight dress is what makes you a whore"
      Emaj7
If "I love you" was a promise
          Bmaj7
Would you break it, if you're honest
         Dbm Gb
Tell the mirror what you know she's heard before

  1. I like to strum Cmaj7 and then plucking
    G—2–2—–2-0—–
    C———————3-
    E————————
    A————————
and then Cmaj7 again twice for the intro

  2. I dont wanna be me

    I use DDDUDUDD.

  3. Where’s my mind

I’m not a pro, but I think strumming Cmaj7 then plucking this:
    G ——————0
    C ——————
    E ———————
    A ———2–0—
Then strumming the next chord works well for a cute intro :)

  4. Blank Words

    How was it?

  5. How was it? Did u get in? I’m so happy for u!!! ❤️

  6. hellojello

if you want a kid friendly version, replace wh*re with “who you are”. It works just as well :)

  7. Alice256

Well, I think that if you play C instead of Cmaj7, G with Gmaj7
and Dsus4, you don’t have to but it in your chords
Play with ballade or slow will make it easier
