Gb
It's not true
                   Dbadd9
Tell me I’ve been lied to

What the hell did I do?

Let someone see right through, ooh

Chorus:
Gb
Baby, won't you take it back?

Up all night
            Dbadd9
On another red-eye
                     Gb Dbadd9
We wish we never learned to fly high
Gb
Maybe we should just try
                      Dbadd9
To tell ourselves a good lie
                     Gb Dbadd9
I didn't mean to make you cry, I

Chorus:
Gb
Baby, won't you take it back?
Ebm
Say you were tryna make me laugh

And nothing has to change today
                            Bbm

The smile that you gave me

Even when you felt like dying

We fall apart as it gets dark
Ebm
I'm in your arms in Central Park

Honestly when I first played the song Cmaj7 sounded sooo off I am so glad I tried Cadd9 instead! Thx

Bea

I sorta found out the closest chords to the chorus :)

F G7
Maybe won’t you take it back?
Am G
Say you were tryna make me laugh
Dm Em
And nothing has to change today
F G7 Am
You didn’t mean to say “I love you”

AAAAAAAAH

bruh thanks so much it sounds to dope when i added it

Mary C.

i freaking love Billie Eilish!

Kym B.

Yeah hi. Just thought this might help. Instead of F, trying doing 2-0-1-2 (cant find the chord name lol) for the verses, not for the chorus/outro though. And instead of using cadd9, try using cmaj7 (i saw a lot commented to use cm but i think cmaj7 is the most accurate). and alsooo, this isnt really super duper accurate but try playing it with tabs like this, its kinda close to how its spose to sound. dont hate pls i just made it up haha
vvv

E – x – 2 – x – x – x – 2 – x – x – x – 2 – x – x – x – 2 – x – x – x – 0 – x – x – x – 0 – x – x – x – 0 – x – x – x – 0 – x – x – x l
A – x – x – 0 – x – x – x – 0 – x – x – x – 0 – x – x – x – 0 – x – x – x – x – x – x – x – 0 – x – x – x – x – x – x – x – 0 – x – x l
C – x – x – x – x – x – x – x – 1 – x – x – x – x – x – x – x – 1 – x – x – 0 – x – x – x – x – 0 – x – x – 0 – x – x – x – x – 0 – x l
G – 2 – x – x – 2 – x – x – x – x – 2 – x – x – 2 – x – x – x – x – 2 – x – x – 2 – x – x – x – x – 2 – x – x – 2 – x – x – x – x – 2 l

(then repeat through out verse)
(the plucking pattern is kinda repetitive so try doing the pattern with the chor/outro chords, if you feel like it. whatever feels right for you)

have a nice day y’all

Deanj.

Please could you tell me the plucking pattern you use

Abi

I used D D U U D U, I use that for everything and I just speed it up or slow it down as needed

Romane

Thanks very helpful 👌🏻

im just a noob

for the plucking pattern i do this four times
A——2—–7|
E—-5—–5–|
C–5—–5—-|
G————–|

followed by this 1 time

A——2—-7|
E—-5—-0–|
C–5—-0—-|
G————-|

then this 3 times

A——2—-7|
E—-0—-0–|
C–0—-0—-|
G————-|

if you want to you can continue plucking this for thew rest of the song or start playing the chords hope this helps

Daphne

I like to pluck the verse, into and outro in a 3 1 2 1 pattern and single down strums on on the chorus. Hope this helps
