  1. Thanks! Sounds EXACTLY right at 0 and is really easy. Personally, instead of F on the very last “hold you”, I play E7. The actual song is just down on each chord once, no strumming pattern required. The “like a hostage” part is played just like the verses ((Am for 2 beats, C for 1 beat, F for 1 beat, rest for 3 beats)).

  2. idontknowanymore

lol thought i would try on the piano and sounds so good

  3. E7 doesn’t sound right to me

  4. Not exactly sure how to do the “like a hostage” part. I know the chords but not when to strum or not.

  5. Zoe Newland

how do i do the “like a hostage” part???

    • bellacassinari

I do it twice down on A and once down on C and F. Hope that helps.

    • if You look at the chords like choral sight reading then the Am chord would be like a dotted quarter note delaying the C chord but keeping the F chord on the beat so if you were to count it out like 1-2-3-4 it would be Am-Am-C-F but I personally don’t play the Am chord on the second beat I think it sounds better that way

    • I do it
      Am-DD
      C-D
      F-DDD

  6. if u pluck back and forth the bottom two strings. (switch to bottom and second to top for chorus) it sounds really good thats what i do,, no worry ab strumming pattern

  7. Anonymous Ukulele

Down… down up (and keep on doing it)

  8. Fairlylocalemo

You should totally put “My Boy” On here. It’s also by Billie. :)

  9. blueberry

    much much better in -2

  10. Just single down strums

  11. I find that if you do lose strums down, it sound really good

  12. Life would be so much easier if you could include the strumming pattern

  13. It’s just one strum for each I’m pretty sure

  14. Definitely not a hornet

I just strum downwards and use DDU, UDU for the outro and stuff. I don’t know if that’s actually right though

  15. what is the strumming pattern?

  16. coolbeans15
