Intro: Bb D Gm C Bb Gm Eb F Bb Gm Eb F Bb

Sweet pea
Apple of my eye
Gm C
Don't know when and I don't know why
Bb Gm Eb F Bb
You're the only reason I keep on coming home

Verse - same as first -:
Sweet pea
What's all this about
Don't get your way all you do is fuss and pout
You're the only reason I keep on coming home

I like the Rock of Gibraltar
I always seem to falter
And the words just get in the way
Oh I know I'm gonna crumble
I'm trying to stay humble
But I never think before I see

Verse - same as first -:
Sweet pea
Keeper of my soul
I know sometimes I'm out of control
You're the only reason I keep on coming
You're the only reason I keep on coming yeah
You're the only reason I keep on coming home

Outro: F Bb

  5. My dad sings it to me every night! And that really helped him. And my dad says thanks bro

  6. -4 is easy as well

  7. Love this song!
Easier if played three steps up. Great song!
    Thank you Amos Lee!

  8. It’s easiest for me to transpose it one half step up! I love it and I’m going to sing it for my school’s talent show!

  10. thethotbot

This is great! It’s also much easier to play if you take it down 4 half steps.

I like to learn while playing with the song, but would have been easier in a different key. There is something with the way the chords sound in E that I love.

  11. Thx Jonas!
