Initually heard this song sung by Garth Brooks in 1998. Release in the movie Hope Floats.

Loving this song. Adele did a beautiful job of covering this for Bob Marley.

Bob Dylan wrote this song. Would’ve been really interesting to see Bob Marley record this but this song was actually written years after Bob died.

-1 Sounds alot like the Glee version, performed by Lea Michelle so if you were looking for that edition, check out – 1

This needs a D7 in the second line of the chorus. D7, then Eb then Bb. It sounds closer to the original then

Keywalker

It’s actually Ebm – maj before it goes to Eb – not D7

Dirty Dan

I find that the chord progression that sounds most similar to the original recording (in the chorus part) is Eb, Bb, D7, Gm, and then back to Eb for the third line. The switch from Gm to Eb is an easy one as well, which is a plus

Mads

Really accurate chords and a v nice version of it. As previously mentioned, the Gb Aug does sound very nice in the chorus, followed by a Gm? Just another possibility, but really nice. Cool!

Zoe

-3 has very easy chords and for me at least is a much easier key to sing in :)

David

Thank you! Much easier to play … the key is a little bit of a reach… But I persevere!
